The new Audi A6 consists of aluminum and high-tech steels, rendering it very light, stiff and safe. Precision tuning of all components and systematic hydraulic damping in the axle and drivetrain bearings provide excellent vibrational comfort. The A6 is 4.92meters (16.14 ft.) long and 1.87meters (6:14 ft.) wide, but only 1.46meters (4.79 ft.)-sporty proportions that are unmatched by the competition . Long hood, the low, sweeping roofline and the prominent lines on the flanks create a dynamic overall appearance. Optional LED lights emphasize the striking expression at the front.

With a light body, sporty chassis and a variety of new assistance and multimedia systems, the full-sized sedan is packed with innovative solutions in every area technology.

Inside, the cabin offers additional interior room as the wheelbase of the car has been stretched to measure 2910mm long. Every detail of the interior is a testament to the care of the Audi invests in car making. All materials, including layered veneer - innovative wood, have been and are made with great care. As an option, the front seats can be equipped with ventilation and massage functions. Classy ambient lighting in the lighting package gives small points of light throughout the interior. While it is certainly nice, we were rather impressed with the cockpit fashionable styling and high-tech goods such as system -1,300watt Bang & Olufsen audio and MMI navigation plus with internet connectivity.

Specification engine, five different engines will be available at launch. The most efficient is a 2.0 TDI which has a fuel consumption rating average of 4.9 l/100km (48.00U.S. mpg) and C02 emissions of 129g/km. It produces 130kW (177 PS) and 380Nm (280lb.-ft.) of torque, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8.7seconds and top out at 228km/h (142mph).
Moving further, the second version of the 3.0 TDI churns out 180kW (245 PS) and 500Nm (369pounds- ft.) of torque. This allows the A6 sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.1seconds, before reaching a top speed limited to 250km/h (155 mph). Fuel consumption is an average of 6.0 L/100km and CO2 emissions registers are 158g/km.

On the other hand, the new 3.0 TDI V6 produces 150kW (204 PS) and 400Nm (295 lb.-ft.) of torque. This allows the car to run from 0-100 km/h in 7.2seconds, before topping out at 240 km/h (149 mph). With this particular machine, expect a fuel consumption average of 5.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 137 g/km.

On the petrol side, there naturally-aspirated 2.8 FSI V6 with 150kW (204 PS) and 280Nm (207 lb.- ft.) of torque. Paired with a multitronic transmission, the engine allows the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph). It consumes 7.4 l/100 km (31.79 U.S. mpg) and emits 172 grams of CO2 /km.

Lastly, the 3.0 TFSI V6 crank 220kW (300PS) and 440Nm (325lb.-ft.) of torque. This allows the car to run from 0-100km/h in 5.5seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155mph). In terms of efficiency, expected 8.2 l/100 km (26.68mpg U.S.) and CO2 emissions of 190g/km.

If those options don't tickle your fancy, Audi will finally launch a hybrid variant that uses a 155kW (211 PS/208 hip) 2.0 TFSI petrol engine and a 33 kW (45 PS/44hip) electric motor. Offering a combined output of 180kW (245PS/241hip) and 480Nm (354lb.-ft.) of torque, the car accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.3seconds and hits a top speed of 238km/h (148 mph). Because mediocre performance, this car is expected to have a fuel consumption average of 6.2L/100km(38mpg U.S.) and CO2 emissions of 142g/km.
